Meet our Welcoming and Dedicated Team Below…

Nina Aouane – Osteopath

Yoko Aouane – Osteopath

I’m Yoko, I’m an Osteopath on a mission to spread good vibes and well-being. My journey began as a medico-pharmaceutical representative, but my caring spirit and passion for helping others led me to retrain as an Osteopath. After four amazing years at Swansea University, I proudly graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy in 2020. My education spans both private and NHS settings, allowing me to treat a variety of concerns, from the everyday pains and aches to the more complex issues, all backed by evidence-based practices.

I’m registered with the General Osteopathic Council and affiliated with The Institute of Osteopathy. When it comes to healing, I’ve got your back – literally! From the common “bad back” to pregnancy, post-partum, and stress-related issues, I’m here to bring smiles and relief.

Beyond the treatment room at Aligned Health, you’ll find me striking a yoga pose, hanging out with my furry friend, and nurturing my precious plant collection. As a culinary explorer, I whip up diverse cuisines for my family. Oh, and I have a serious case of wanderlust – exploring the world is my passion, and my list of visited countries is ever-expanding. I’m looking forward to assisting you through your health and wellbeing journey!

Samten Choekyi – Osteopath

Yu Yan Leong – Chiropractor

I am Yan, I am also a chiropractor who registered under the General Chiropractic Council. I studied Master of Chiropractic in University of South Wales for 4 years. My interest in studying chiropractic care is rooted in its holistic approach to health and wellness. Throughout my coursework, my enthusiasm has grown steadily as I have come to appreciate the depth and breadth of knowledge yet to be explored. The hands-on techniques to restore spinal function and not only they are offering pain relief but also a comprehensive enhancement of overall well-being had captivated me. This realisation fuels my passion for delving further into the intricacies of chiropractic care, where I see boundless opportunities for continuous learning and a profound impact on the health and lives of others.

Growing up in Malaysia, a multiracial and multicultural environment has instilled in me a deep appreciation for diversity and I find joy in connecting with people from all corners of the globe. I am also an avid traveller and I cherish the experiences of exploring new places with both friends and family. Traveling not only satiates my curiosity about the world but also serves to strengthen the bonds with my loved ones. The shared adventures and cultural immersions during these journeys create lasting memories that contribute to the richness of my life.

Leanne Norbury – Lead Massage Theapist

I have always had an interest in the human body and how it works which is why I decided to go back to college in 2017 and study my Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy. I loved what I had learned so much that I wanted to carry on and I completed my Level 4 Sports Massage Therapy in 2019.

I have had great opportunities to attend events, like the Chester Marathon, and perform massage for the participants. I also took part in an event called Three Peaks by Train in which I gave massages to the walkers’ on a moving train between the mountains. Although is was not the easiest thing to do, with the train in motion, it was fun and it was fantastic to help everyone get to the end and achieve their goal.

It is great seeing the results of massage on the people I treat and how it can change people’s day to day life.

Emma Nelson – Senior Massage Therapist

I graduated from The University of Hertfordshire in 2017 with a 1st class (hons) BSc in Sports Therapy. After graduating I spent three months backpacking my way around New Zealand, Australia and Bali. Unfortunately, my desire to keep travelling grew a lot quicker than my bank account so I decided to become a pirate and join the yachting industry as a Sports Massage Therapist, giving me the chance to continue my adventure whilst earning some money too!

During the past year I have also gained diploma certificates in Reflexology, Myofascial Cupping and Advanced Deep Tissue. I am particularly interested in expanding my skillset to pregnancy care including pregnancy massage and pre/post natal Pilates. I am excited to begin my training in April 2020 to become a certified APPI Pilates instructor.

Being a Jersey girl I enjoy spending my free time on the beach, in the sea or camping with my family and friends. I am excited to get stuck in with Aligned Health and look forward to utilising my current deep tissue techniques in order to support each patient’s voyage to recovery.

Emily Cann – Massage Therapist

I’m Emily and I’m a massage therapist here at Aligned Health. I studied sports therapy at the University of Gloucester and have recently completed a MS in Sports Medicine at the University of Chester. I love working with the supportive team at Aligned Health and working alongside our Osteopaths and Chiropractors to make sure our patients get and stay out of pain.

Morgan Clements – Massage Therapist

Sarah Pryor – Senior Clinical Assistant

As a clinic assistant here at Aligned Health I am really enjoying my new role and getting to know all of our lovely patients. I am so excited to be apart of such a wonderful and welcoming team. I bring with me over 15 years Customer Service experience from my time in retail and retail management.
Outside of work myself and my partner enjoy taking our three boys on days out often ending up at the beach or in the woods. When time allows we often escape for a few days to our favourite place in North Wales, Traddur bay.

Sarah Moore – Senior Clinical Assistant

Vicki Wild – Clinical and Marketing Assistant

have been a Clinic Assistant here at Aligned Health for over two years and I love getting to know our patients on a more personal level, celebrating their successes and making them feel a part of our little community here.

In January 2022 my role within the clinic changed. I now be work remotely, over seeing the clinics social media and digital communications. While I may not be in the clinic physically as often, I am excited to continue my voyage with Aligned Health continuing to make sure our patients get the best experience they can with us.

Outside of work I graduated from University of Central Lancashire with an honour’s degree in History and Politics, and I have retuned to the university to complete a PhD in history (hence the change in role). I also love all things Doctor Who, Harry Potter and I am secretly hoping for a 3rd instalment of Andrew Garfield’s the Amazing Spider- man series.

Helen Harding – Clinic Owner

I graduated in 2005 from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a 1st class honours degree in chiropractic. I have worked as a Chiropractor in Chester since graduation, where I have continually strived to develop both my skills and knowledge base.

I oversee the entire clinic and all the practitioners. I am fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), and am a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA). In addition to this, I am also a licentiate member of the Royal College of Chiropractors (RCC), and was awarded specialist membership of the Pregnancy and Paediatrics faculty in recognition of my training and special interest.

Outside of clinic I enjoy canicross, a sport which involves running whilst harnessed to your dog (mostly trying to avoid being pulled over by Toby, a 35kg German Shorthaired Pointer!)
